CodeHS believes that every student deserves access to top-quality education, regardless of language barriers. By providing a thoughtfully designed K-12 curriculum in Spanish, we strive to improve computer science accessibility and support teachers paving the way for English Language Learners (ELL) in computer science.
Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of blended-language classes, combining the excitement of programming with the power of language. We also understand that every learner is unique–offering differentiation tools to ensure each ELL student thrives in their CS classroom.
Teachers can set up a single CodeHS course for their blended classrooms, and then students will be able to view the course in their set language. The entire classroom can learn alongside one another, and it’s easy for teachers and students to switch their default language to Spanish at any point.
CodeHS K-5 curriculum is also available in Spanish! Lessons include Spanish translated student-facing slides to complement the English version.
