Creative Computing (MS)

The Creative Computing course is a beginner computer science course introducing the basics of programming. Students learn JavaScript with Karel and Python with Tracy. Students also create a personal portfolio website in HTML and CSS showcasing projects they build throughout the course.

Web Design
Students learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and the processes involved in viewing web pages on the internet.
Introduction to Programming with Karel the Dog
Students learn about JavaScript syntax, functions, control structures, and proper programming formatting by giving commands to Karel the dog. Students can use either text or blocks to code.
Introduction to Programming with Turtle Graphics
Students learn Python commands, functions, and control structures by drawing shapes and solving puzzles with Turtle Graphics.
