This course integrates coding into math, science, ELA, and social studies lessons for fifth grade students. It is meant to be taught approximately once a week by the general education teacher. Subject area lessons can be taught in any order; they are listed in approximate order of complexity.

Students develop basic familiarity with Scratch.
Students apply 5th grade math concepts to develop programs in Scratch.
Students apply 5th grade science concepts to develop programs in Scratch.
Students apply 5th grade ELA concepts to develop programs in Scratch.
Students apply 5th grade social studies concepts to develop programs in Scratch.
