Computer Science in Game Design

Creating engaging games and virtual worlds for consumers

The worlds you can create in game design and development are endless with the rapid changes in technology. Key companies in the industry continue to invest in their growing teams which include illustrators, writers, engineers, music composers, and more – all of which work together to bring a game to life. Artificial intelligence, data science, augmented reality, cloud computing, and other emerging technologies are also starting to play a big part in the gaming industry.

Understanding some programming will also help you better understand the limitations that the programmers lay out for you. And when you understand what’s going on behind the scenes in the game code, that makes it easier for you to work with the programmers to brainstorm.
